About SOLA

150+ years of experience.
Zero layers between you and it.

SOLA Environmental was founded in November 2019 on a simple conviction: clients deserve the technical depth of a large firm with the responsiveness and accountability of a small one.

Our Story

Boutique by design, not by accident.

After 12 years inside environmental consulting, Brad Arnold saw the same pattern on repeat: big firms winning work with their senior people, then delivering it with their newest hires. SOLA was built to break that pattern.

Since 2019, we've supported clients across iron & steel production, hyperscale data centers, automotive assembly, specialty chemicals, and more, with experience working throughout the United States. From minor source and NSR permitting to environmental audits and compliance strategy, every engagement gets principal-level attention. That's just how we staff.

At a large firm, your project may get assigned to whoever's available. At SOLA, it's led by a principal engineer on every engagement.
